What is OKD? |
| |
OKD stands for "One-stop Knowledge Database".
The OKD is developed in the form of an internet
platform to allow free access by local and PRD SME
manufacturers. The OKD will be a frontline deliverable
for SMEs to acquire first hand information on the
updated global standards and requirements from their
clients and global partners. The OKD also serves
as a management tool to help SME understand their
performance not only by benchmarking, but also through
self-evaluation. Trade-specific guidelines and technical
advice will also be a key component of the OKD.

What is META service? |
| |
META stands for "Meet-the-Advisor".
The META service is designed to solve the complicated
environmental problems, which cannot be solved in
simple words by the hotline operators. .Appointment
to meet the project advisor will be arranged through
the hotline operator after simple assessment on
the problem from enquirer. This arrangement provides
a "face-to-face" opportunity of free advisory
to the industry and echoes the project's aim by
creating the most direct communication interface
between SME users and our technical professionals.
In case of extreme support, the project advisors
will perform site visits to the SME operations (traveling
fee shall be covered by users) and assist SMEs to
address the missing links and gaps in their operations. |
